About Dr. Laura Vaughan, DPT, CSCS
I am a licensed physical therapist with over 20 years of experience in outpatient care settings. I graduated from Ithaca College with my MS in Physical Therapy in 2000. Later I attended Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions and received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2010. I have received specialized training in many manual therapy techniques including Muscle Energy Techniques, Dry Needling, Myofascial Release, and TMJ treatment. I also became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist in 2024 to better serve my therapy clients with targeted exercise interventions.
As a sufferer of migraines and cervicogenic headaches, I have firsthand knowledge of how debilitating these conditions can be and how important effective treatment can be in improving the quality of life for people with chronic headaches. With this population in mind, the idea for Reboot Physical Therapy was born. I noticed that my patients were unable to fully reap the benefits of manual therapy in traditional therapy settings where the bright lights, loud noises, and at times rushed sessions were counterproductive to a truly healing environment. Reboot Physical Theory is different. Sessions are always 1:1 with me in a quiet, therapeutic, tranquil environment.
When Iām not in the clinic I enjoy running, hiking, and kayaking.
